The Client Service Associate will be the point of contact for all client service related needs. Will provide service on all accounts, from opening new accounts to handling active client requests and questions. Will be relied on heavily for both professional and personal support in a fast-paced environment. This is a client service position. It requires a dedicated person, willing to work hard, and where quality is not compromised. Will also serve as backup for other office duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain calendar and database for Financial Advisor
  • Analyzing reports to determine appropriate action to be taken on behalf of client accounts
  • Researching client issues
  • Prepare for appointments
  • Collect, organize, and synthesize personal and financial client information
  • Opening, closing, transferring, and maintaining accounts
  • Prepare and verify information for client forms, applications, and other documents
  • Update and maintain client database
  • General office duties, i.e. answer phone, USPS, UPS

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Finance or Financial Planning background preferred
  • Ability to interact successfully with high-income clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

This individual will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing support to the compliance functions for MMWKM Advisors LLC, dba Money Matters with Ken Moraif, a registered investment advisor (“RIA”) and its licensed insurance agency, Moraif Insurance Agency (together, the “Company”).

This is a highly engaged position working as a member of the  Compliance Team, and with regularly interaction with Financial Advisors and CSAs.  Leveraging excellent customer service,  communication, and data processing skills with an attention to detail,  this role acts as the  primary processor of compliance review of client account and employee activity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Compliance Analyst will be primarily responsible for compliance review of client account and employee activities, procurement and filing of regulatory required documentation for the firm and employees, maintaining compliance files, generating reports, and general clerical duties for the compliance team.

Compliance Operations and Communication:

  • Conduct compliance review on client account activities
  • Identify activities to be escalated and further investigated by senior compliance personnel.
  • Monitor advisor and CSA activities
  • Review client contracts and custodial applications
  • Collect and review of monthly correspondence from branches
  • Oversee personal security report collection
  • Handle firm and IAR registration and licensing submissions on IARD/IAPD system
  • Complete monthly households by state review and update state registration/notice filing requirements on IARD/IAPD system
  • Conduct review of client accounts
  • Prepare documents for compliance branch exams and coordinate completion and filing all documents post review
  • Conduct quarterly review of all employee LinkedIn accounts
  • Perform annual “Google Search” of all employees
  • Coordinate, confirm, and file compliance paperwork for all new hires
  • Collect and review annual compliance paperwork for all employees

Essential Skill & Experience Requirements:

  • The ideal person for this role should have administrative and data processing experience. Experience working in the investment advisory industry is preferred.  This person has excellent customers service skills with the ability to deliver information and requests tactfully.
  • An educational background including an undergraduate degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience Implementing and monitoring projects as directed by management, and seeing them through to completion
  • Detailed oriented with an affinity for investigative work
  • Dependable with ability to work well within a team

Additional Requirements:
